The Ukhrul District Working Journalists’ Association (UDWJA) conducted its general body meeting cum elections for the tenure 2021- 2024 at its Viewland in Ukhrul town on Monday. 

 

Senior journalist Addie Chiphang has been elected as the association's new president and Ricky Angkang as its secretary for the ensuing three-year term. 

 

Ningthemngam Shimrah and R Lester Makang have been assigned the positions of finance secretary and Ukhrul Press Club (UPC) secretary respectively, while senior journalist and former UDWJA President Thotshang Shaiza has been appointed as the association’s advisor for the same tenure.
